Notice of Presbytery Meeting
The next stated meeting of the Presbytery of Sacramento will be on Saturday, July 8, 2000 at Faith Presbyterian Church, 625 Florin Road, Sacramento. The phone number there is (916) 428-3439.
Directions: From Hwy I-5 just south of Sacramento, take the FLORIN ROAD exit WEST. The church is approx. 1 1/2 miles on the right side.
Docket: The proposed docket for this meeting will be found below. For those
who are interested, there will be an orientation for new commissioners
at 9:00am prior to the opening events.
At this meeting we will hear short reports from our commissioners to General Assembly, and will have the opportunity to ask them questions about events
at that gathering. For those who will not be traveling to Long Beach, you can keep abreast of GA actions as they occur by logging on to the PC(USA)

Other activities of the day include a taize worship service, music by the youth of Faith Church, a chance to hear from Nancy Eng MacNeill and Byron
Nelson on their recent trips to India and the Philippines, and a report from the outgoing synod commissioners. In that vein, the newly elected
Nominations Committee will bring us their first nominees for new synod commissioners and committee members.
commissioners, your announcements, reports, or papers should be printed and in our hands before July 1st to be included in the packets. You will be
given time for a brief mention of them at announcement time. There will not be time for non-action, verbal announcements.
